"In my experience, the less one brings to one's Lalanne house the better.  Bring the same amount of things as you would to a dorm room.  Bring the necessities for your day to day life: clothes, shoes, toiletries etc, and the things you would want to make your bedroom your own, pictures, books, etc. "  -Annie

  Specifically:
Bed sheets/pillows/blankets
Clothes (mostly summer clothes with some fall:

also depends on if they are going home or not to get winter clothes)
Also, bring lots of professional clothing
Boots and/or tennis shoes (this community likes to hike, take walks, and go to the gym)
Any paper needs/school supplies you would need (including laptop)

Lamps, desk/study type
We have blinds, but if they want curtains they would have to bring their own

Bring lots of blankets-- the house does get cold in the winter
Extension cords or outlet strips for your bedroom
Hooks or things to hang things on in your bedroom
Underbed storage container(s) for out of season clothing or shoes
We even have extra clothes for the goose!

Bathroom Needs:
Towels/Washcloth
Usual toiletries and shower things
Hairdryer or straightener if you use it (everyone uses their own)
Full length mirror for your bedroom (optional)

Kitchen Needs:

If you want coffee to go, might want to bring your own travel mug
I think we have every other kitchen necessity

A typical bedroom:
This one is tough because everyone's room has a mismatch of things,
but every bedroom at least has a bed, a closet, and a dresser!
