In the words of a Lalanne teacher...

"I would strongly encourage someone to consider a program like Lalanne because it really is the best of both worlds; there is a strong emphasis on service through teaching, but there also is support and genuine camaraderie within the communities.

When I go home--whether from grad school or teaching--I know that there are loving, understanding, and faithful people there for me who are going through similar experiences.

Additionally, the program was a perfect fit for me because it balances real-world teaching experiences with the professional development of a Master's degree. As a young teacher, I can build rapport and credibility by getting my feet on the ground during my first years teaching, and I also have more credibility as a teacher since I am working towards another degree.

I could not be happier with my Lalanne experience thus far! I get real teaching experience, a Master's degree, experience in a new city, and support through community living. It is a great transition into independent adulthood."
